A moderated group e-mail communication service for members only is available on a 24/7 basis. This vital stream of information includes details of many job opportunities that have been sourced by other members for the group.
Members are encouraged to maintain their participation both while they are working and when they are in transition.
A daily digest of the message headers can be selected.
Members may unsubscribe from this service by following the instructions included at the bottom of every message.
Members can post the highlights of their résumé on this website. Segregated into 10 broad categories this on-line display is being continuously monitored by Employers and Executive Recruiters and Human Resource professionals.
Members may display their Profile in up to 3 categories.
Three times a year a direct mailing of a hard copy of selected Profiles is mailed to over 500 decision makers in the Toronto area. Details of this mailing are on the "Direct mail - Profiles' page listed in the drop down menu under 'member services' on the menu bar.
Meetings are held weekly in 2 locations, detailed directions and maps are shown under 'meetings' on the menu bar. The interchange of information between members who are in similar circumstances has proven to be an invaluable support during transition. Professional relationships started here are yours to maintain throughout your career. There is no substitute for the face to face interaction and depth of understanding that is developed in the small group sessions. Members attending meetings can access jobs on line between meetings.
A comprehensive library of supporting documents continue to be developed that provide specific information for the job search process. These resources are available for members to download from the website at any time without limitation. Hard copies are on display at the weekly networking meetings.
At the weekly networking meetings material from other organizations is displayed in quantities. Members are encouraged to help themselves to copies seminar and training session information. There are many subsidized special services that are available to provide specialized support.
A newsletter is published on-line as covering general information of our activities. It includes member testimonials and statistical analysis of attendance and time in transition.
Every week details of our meetings and presentations are sent to the major media outlets in the Toronto area. This publicizes our activities and encourages a steady stream of employment opportunities being posted on our website.
Special events and additions to our services are published as they are arranged.
